1914-15 Star, Private Henry Sumner, 1/7th (Leeds Rifles) West Yorkshire Regiment

Born around 1893, Henry disembarked in France on the 19th October 1915 as part of the 1/7th (Leeds Rifles) West Yorkshire Regiment as part of the 1st West Riding Division. Whilst serving under the 1/7th (Leeds Rifles) West Yorkshire Regiment, he was hospitalised at the 18th General Hospital, Pas-de-Calais on the 11th and the 13th of July 1917, the latter where he remained until the 22nd of July. He re-enlisted in the West Yorkshire Regiment on the 13th of January 1919. He also served in the 15/17th West Yorkshire Regiment.
