An original late 19th-century glengarry badge for the 1st Volunteer Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.
Die-struck white metal construction featuring the crowned circlet inscribed “Hampshire Regiment, 1st Volr Battn” surrounding the Bengal Tiger. Three original lugs to reverse.

Condition: Very Good – Light age wear, original lugs intact and strong.

A scarce and genuine example of Victorian-era British volunteer unit insignia.
