WATER BOTTLE 1937 Pattern webbing, Load carrying equipment. Complete with ‘skeleton pattern webbing carrier. Water bottles complete with khaki-green ‘blanket’ material covers intact, but show slight moth cropping to surface. Carriers ‘almost as new’ brass mounted but mostly date stamped 1953. As usual with these, the webbing is almost too tight to go over the water bottle with covering, to allow the button to do up. in 63 years or more the webbing has slightly shrunk.
