Description

German Third Reich ‘S.A.’ Mans Dress Dagger Ernst Röhm dedication removed, with scabbard and hanging strap. Brown Box-wood grip with enamel disc ‘S.A.’, nickel S.A. Eagle, nickle plated mounts with the very lightest of oxidation, ground steel double-edge blade with clear etching ‘Alles fur Deutchland’ and clear makers logo of Carl Eikhorn . Solingen., with hanging strap. Some original brown paint finish remains to scabbard, but rather scratched. Nickel plated top mount and cross-guard, marked ‘Ns’. and nickle chape. Blade originally bore inscription for Ernst Röhm dedication, but apperas to have been factory removed, but still visible if blade pointed towards the light. The inscription was obviously genuine, as the Eikhorn trade mark is smaller and nearer the hilt than on the fakes. It appears to have it’s original 23o mm blade length, 375 mm OALength, slight wear and rubbing to scabbard mounts but otherwise very good to excellent condition,
