SIAM MAUSER ‘knife’ BAYONET with Scabbard. Steel pommel, wide cross-guard with muzzle ring, 246 mm single edged single fullered blade, plain wood grips held by plain steel rivets with washers, and no flash-guard. Compete in steel scabbard with flat ‘teardrop’ frog stud, and ball end. Condition not bad for one of these Mauser bayonets, much blue remains but gripes appear to have been replaced during it’s working life. 39 cm OALength. These bayonets and Rifles were Japanese manufactured as the type 46 rifle, and made from 1903.
