German Third Reich K98k Bayonet in Matching Scabbard, made by Jetter und Scheerer and dated 1938 on the scabbard and ricasso. On the reverse side is marked “8355”. Waffenampt markings on the pommel, rifle catch, scabbard chape and flash guard.
402mm bayonet (with scabbard) with bakelite grip, complete with grip bolts, locking catch. 250mm single-edged fullered blade.
Overall Condition: Good, the scabbard is missing most of the original black paint. The pommel is missing a lot of its original finish and to a much lesser extent so does the blade.
