1st Battalion, Essex Regiment Salamanca Eagle Officer’s Swagger Stick

A British officer’s swagger stick, featuring a traditional design with a polished cane shaft and a white metal cap featuring the insignia of the Essex Regiment (Salamanca Eagle) with the scroll “1st Bn. The Essex Regiment” below. These swagger sticks were carried by officers and senior NCOs as part of their formal dress, especially during parades, inspections, and ceremonial duties.

Condition: Very Good – Light surface wear consistent with age. The shaft is slightly warped. The cap engraving is in very good condition.
