Brass shoulder title of the 3rd King’s Own Hussars, bearing the abbreviated 3H designation. Titles of this type were worn on service dress and battledress uniforms to identify regimental affiliation. They were in use throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including the First World War period. The simple, bold lettering is typical of cavalry shoulder titles of the era.
Manufactured in brass and die-stamped with clear, well-defined lettering. The reverse is fitted with lugs for attachment to the uniform.
Dimensions
Approx. 27mm x 14mm
