4th Territorial Battalion, Dorsetshire Regiment shoulder title, cast in brass. Formed as part of the Territorial Force in 1908, the 4th Battalion was a reserve unit of the Dorsetshire Regiment, providing home defence and front-line reinforcements during the First World War.
The shoulder title reads “T / 4 / DORSET”, cast brass shoulder title. These titles were worn on the epaulettes of the khaki service dress tunic or greatcoat.
The reverse features three-eyed lugs.
Condition: As new. Apparently these were found in the loft of a drill hall in Dorchester
