7th Queen’s Own Hussars cap badge, 1953–1958 pattern, featuring the Queen Elizabeth II (ERII) Crown. This design was worn during the final years of the regiment’s independent existence before its 1958 amalgamation with the 3rd King’s Own Hussars to form the Queen’s Own Hussars. The badge displays the regiment’s distinctive interlocking “QOH” cypher in white metal beneath the Queen’s Crown, surrounded by a circlet “7th Queen’s Own Hussars”.
