Description
Antique Forestry Hunting Sword, made by Tjikroeh in Indonesia and dated 1/4/1904 on the ricasso. 403mm (15 15/16″) single-edged blade with engravings in the fuller, white metal (nickel) shell shaped cross guard with hoof-shaped finial, horn grip with 3 white metal studs and white metal stylised pommel. Dark brown scabbard with white metal locket.
Condition: Very good, however the scabbard is missing its chape and stud on the locket. The cross guard is also missing one of the hoof-shaped finials.
