New Zealand Armed Forces Award Medal, ERII, Miniature

A miniature example of the New Zealand Armed Forces Award, instituted in 1985 to recognise long and efficient service by commissioned officers of the New Zealand Armed Forces. Awarded for 15 years’ service with an exemplary record, the medal carries the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse in keeping with awards of the period, and the miniature reflects the design and significance of the full-size decoration. This is a desirable piece for collectors of New Zealand military medals, Commonwealth service decorations, or miniature medal groups.
