General Service Medal (GSM) with “S.E. ASIA 1945–46” clasp, originally awarded to British and Commonwealth forces who served in post-war South-East Asia between 3 September 1945 and 30 June 1946. This campaign recognised service during the reoccupation and stabilisation period following the Japanese surrender in the region.
The replacement medal replicates the original design, featuring the crowned effigy of King George VI on the obverse and the standing figure of Victory bestowing a wreath upon the emblems of the Army (the sword) and the RAF (the wings). The medal is correctly fitted with the green and purple ribbon and the “S.E. Asia 1945-46” clasp riveted with a long rod.
A high-quality full-size replacement copy with a silver plate finish on base metal.
