Mod 1908/34 Brazilian Mauser bayonet, brass mounted leather scabbard
Mod 1908/34 Mauser bayonet, a steel pommel, cross guard with forward-swept quillon, numbered “1510, 1”. Wood grips held by two steel washers held by rivets. 297mm/11.3/4″ fullered single-edged steel blade. Complete in brass mounted, black leather scabbard. These Bayonets seem to have been made to fit the 30-06 conversions of the 7mm model 1908 rifles, from about 1930, though still fit the earlier model.
Condition: very good shows light issue wear and tear. No makers mark
