Mod 1908/34 Brazilian Mauser bayonet, brass mounted leather scabbard
Mod 1908/34 Mauser bayonet, Steel pommel, cross guard with forward swept quillon, numbered S-8366. Makers mark on ricasso is marked Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie, Solingen. Wood grips held by two steel washers held by rivets. 297mm/11.3/4″ fullered single edged steel blade. The scabbard’s serial number is C-4251. Complete in brass mounted, black leather scabbard. These Bayonets seem to have been made to fit the 30-06 conversions of the 7mm model 1908 rifles, from about 1930, though still fit the earlier model
Condition: good shows light issue wear and tear. Some dark pits in the blade
