British War Medal (1914-20), Lance Corporal Edwin Charles Dent, 10th Lancashire Fusiliers.

Born in Croyden, Surrey in 1897 to Arthur and Mary Dent, eventually moving to Penge, near Barnet, Hertfordshire. He joined the 3/7th Middlesex Regiment sometime after 1915 and would eventually transfer to the 10th (Service) Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers, where he would be killed on the 24th April, 1918 during the German Spring Offensive. He is buried in Forceville Communal Cemetery Extension.
