British War Medal (1914-20), Private Thomas Frederick Cooper, 10th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment (KIA)
Born around 1881 in Hackney, London, he originally enlisted in the Army Service Corps in September 1916. He transferred into the 9th (Training Reserve) Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment then the 10th West Yorkshire Regiment in March of the following year, and later transferred to the 10th Battalion York and Lancaster Regiment. Registered as missing as of the 4th of May 1917, recorded as dying on the 21st of April 1917, presumably during the battle of Arras. Currently buried in the Arras Memorial.
