Bulgarian 6H5 pattern bayonet designed for use with the AK-74 and compatible Kalashnikov variants. This military bayonet forms part of the standard field equipment issued to Bulgarian armed forces during the late Cold War period, reflecting Soviet-influenced design and manufacture.
The 6H5 bayonet features a single-edged blade with a spear-point profile, finished in an anodised coating to reduce glare in field conditions. The hilt is constructed with a black plastic moulded grip, incorporating a crossguard with muzzle ring and a pommel designed to interface securely with the rifle’s bayonet lug. When paired with its scabbard, the bayonet is capable of forming a wire-cutting tool, a common feature of Kalashnikov-pattern bayonets.
The scabbard is manufactured from a similar black plastic material with a metal fitting, enabling safe cutting of live wires when used in conjunction with the blade. This practical dual-purpose design reflects the utilitarian approach of Soviet-era military equipment.
A copy of the Russian 6X5 bayonet, production began in 1986 at the State arms factory known today as “ARSENAL J. S. Company”. Bulgarian examples have the Arsenal Co. double-circle-10 trademark moulded into the grip and scabbard body.

Condition
Very good overall condition with light service wear and well-preserved detailing. The blade remains clean with no significant damage. The grip and fittings are intact and secure. Scabbard (if present) is complete and functional. No major defects or alterations are evident.
