An original curved brass shoulder title for the Cheshire Regiment, bearing the single-line inscription “CHESHIRE” in bold serif capitals. This pattern was introduced around 1902, following the transition to khaki service dress, and remained in use through much of the 20th century, including both World Wars and post-war service.
Typically worn by other ranks on the shoulder straps of uniforms, with east-west eyed lugs on the reverse
