A restrike cap badge associated with the 8th Battalion, Essex Regiment, featuring the recognised Essex Regiment insignia with the characteristic blank battle honour scroll. The badge is executed in metal with clear relief detailing. Intended as a reproduction of the original pattern worn on service dress headdress, it represents a collectable example for reference, display, or completion of non-original sets of British Army insignia.
