German Dress Bayonet by Alcosa ACS, Solingen in Scabbard with a nickel-plated hilt with Birds head pommel, with working bayonet catch, and nickel crossguard with swept-back quillon. Diamond chequered black bakelite grips are held by two dome head steel rivets. 9.75″/245mm single-edged, single fullered nickel-plated blade, ricasso marked with “ACS” with a scales in the centre. Complete in a black Japanned steel scabbard.
Condition: Good. Nickel plating to bayonet blade showing some very light abrasions with some drips of paint but the rest of bayonet only shows only some lifting of nickel plating to pommel and finish to the scabbard. The catch doesn’t sit level with the flat side of the hilt
