Cap badge of the King’s Regiment (Liverpool and Manchester), formed in 1958 by the amalgamation of the King’s Regiment (Liverpool) and the Manchester Regiment. The badge reflects the heritage of both antecedent regiments, combining elements of their historic insignia into a single design worn throughout the regiment’s existence until its amalgamation into the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment (King’s, Lancashire and Border) in 2006.

The badge is produced in plated bimetal with clear, well-defined detail. The design incorporates the rampant horse emblem on a fleur-de-lis and scroll reading “KING’S”. The reverse is fitted with a hook slider for attachment to a cap or beret.

Dimensions
Approx. 33mm x 25mm

Condition
