Leicestershire Regiment from the late Victorian period through the Second World War.
This iconic badge features the regiment’s well-known emblem: the royal tiger standing proudly on a curved scroll bearing the title “Leicestershire”, surmounted by the top scroll with the battle honour “Hindoostan”. The restrike follows the traditional outline and proportions of the original die-struck examples issued throughout the regiment’s long service history.

Construction
- Die-struck gilding metal and white metal
- Detailed tiger motif with correct Victorian/early 20th-century style modelling
- Title scrolls are sharply rendered
- Fitted with standard slider reverse fixing
Condition
Excellent condition, showing crisp detail with no damage. As a restrike, it is ideal for collectors, uniform displays, or filling gaps where an original example is hard to obtain.
