Middlesex Regiment collar badge, worn between 1882 and 1962, with the adoption of anodised aluminium. The badge follows the long-standing regimental design, featuring the Prince of Wales’s plumes over a coronet with motto scroll Ich Dien, set above the regiment’s cap badge centre. Struck in bimetal for the service dress of other ranks, these badges were worn in pairs on the collars of tunics. Reverse retains its original lugs for attachment.
