Original Norfolk Regiment curved brass shoulder title, of the 1902–1937 Pattern, worn by members of the regiment during the Edwardian era, First World War, and interwar period before being awarded the “Royal” title in 1935. The Norfolk Regiment, an esteemed county infantry regiment of the British Army, served with distinction throughout the Great War and later became part of the Royal Anglian lineage.
This die-stamped brass shoulder title is of the single-line curved design, reading “NORFOLK”, with two integral brass loops to the reverse for attachment to the shoulder strap of the service tunic or battledress.
