Officer’s Brass Rank Star (Pip), 29mm, Pair

British Army officer’s rank star, commonly referred to as a “pip”, measuring 29mm in diameter. This finely detailed example is struck in brass and typically used on service dress, mess dress, or ceremonial uniforms.

The design follows the Order of the Bath star shape, adopted for British officer ranks in the late 19th century and still in use today. Rank stars are generally associated with officer ranks, rank dependent on placement and quantity worn on the shoulder or epaulettes.

Condition: Very good. Original rear lugs remain intact and functional.
