A fine example of the iconic French M1816 AN XI Briquet Sabre, dated 1837. The 1837 date confirms continued production during the July Monarchy. Condition: Good. Blade shows pitting throughout with some chips on the edge. The brass hilt has many dings and dents, albeit old damage. Makers and acceptance marks are present, but difficult to read
