Original German M35 Luftwaffe 1st Pattern double decal helmet (stahlhelm) with leather liner, size 59. Specifically designed for the German Air Force during World War II, the stahlhelm features a flared edge and protruding visor, providing enhanced head protection against shrapnel and debris. The decals depict the Luftwaffe flying eagle with the swastika below, on the opposing side is the German national colours. Markings on the inside of the helmet are “EF66” and “20408” as well as the helmet size “59”.
Overall condition: Very good, only about 40% of the decals remain as they were previously painted over in grey paint. The metalwork itself is in fantastic condition with minimal damage.
