Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) cap badge produced as a restrike of the pattern worn from 1901 until 1953. This British Army infantry cap badge displays the recognised insignia of the Royal Fusiliers in clear relief, incorporating the distinctive flaming grenade featuring the King’s crown, central rose device and Royal Motto.
Manufactured in a bright brass finish consistent with service dress wear, this restrike example offers a sharply defined representation of the original early twentieth-century pattern. Royal Fusiliers cap badges are collected as examples of British Army infantry militaria, fusilier regiment insignia, and historic regimental uniform hardware associated with both the First and Second World War periods. The reverse is fitted with standard lug fittings for secure attachment to a cap or beret.
