Royal Marines Anodised Button (24mm), Queen’s Crown
This is an anodised aluminium uniform button of the Royal Marines, produced to the post-1953 pattern bearing the Queen’s Crown. Widely used throughout the second half of the 20th century, anodised (staybright) buttons offered a durable, bright finish requiring minimal maintenance, making them a common feature on service dress and ceremonial uniforms during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
The button features the traditional Royal Marines crowned fouled anchor emblem, sharply defined in anodised metal with a bright, clean appearance. The reverse is fitted with an integral shank for attachment to tunics or dress garments.
Diameter
24mm
Condition
Excellent, with a bright, even finish and no notable wear. The shank is secure and undamaged.
