Royal Marines, 1953–2022 pattern officer’s service dress cap badge, featuring the Queen Elizabeth II (ERII) Crown. This finely made two-part bronze badge follows the traditional post-1953 design worn throughout the latter half of the 20th century and into the early 21st century.
The badge consists of a bronze globe surrounded by a laurel wreath, surmounted by a separate Queen’s Crown. The globe and crown are made as separate components with east-west eyed lugs, giving depth and distinction to the piece, as appropriate for officers’ service dress.
