Royal Marines (1953–2022 Pattern) Bronze Cap Badge, Queen’s Crown
This is a bronze cap badge of the Royal Marines, made to the long-running 1953–2022 pattern introduced at the accession of Queen Elizabeth II. The design features the iconic globe and laurel wreath, surmounted by the Queen’s Crown. This pattern remained in service for nearly seven decades, making it one of the longest-used designs in Royal Marines history.
Die-struck in bronze with well-defined detail, the badge displays the traditional Royal Marines cap badge design. The badge is fitted on the reverse with standard lugs for cap or beret attachment.
Dimensions
Approx. 38mm x 46mm
Condition
Excellent, with crisp detail and an even bronze finish throughout. The lugs are intact and firmly fixed, and the surface shows only light wear consistent with careful handling.
