Royal Norfolk Regiment cap badge, a restrike of the cap badge worn by the Royal Norfolk Regiment between 1922 and 1959. Die-struck gilding metal badge, featuring the figure of Britannia seated with trident and shield. On the reverse, the badge is fitted with a brass slider, commonly used for securing the badge to the service cap.
This pattern was introduced following the regiment’s re-titling in 1922 and remained in use throughout the interwar period, the entirety of the Second World War, and into the early Cold War era until the regiment’s amalgamation into the Royal Anglian Regiment in 1959.
A fine restrike suitable for collectors of British Army cap badges, WW2 militaria, and Royal Norfolk Regiment memorabilia. Suitable for displays, re-enactment, or as part of a wider collection of regimental insignia.
