Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) Anodised Button, Queen’s Crown (19mm)

Royal Tank Regiment anodised aluminium button, Queen’s Crown, measuring 19mm in diameter. Introduced in the post-war period as a lightweight and corrosion-resistant alternative to traditional brass, anodised buttons were adopted across the British Army for service dress. The face displays the Royal Tank Regiment cypher of the initials “RTR” in running script surmounted by the Queen’s Crown. This 19mm size was standard issue for tunics and service jackets.
