South Staffordshire Regiment collar badges, worn between 1949 and the regiment’s amalgamation into the Staffordshire Regiment in 1959. The design features the Stafford knot, a long-standing emblem of the county. Struck in white metal for other ranks’ service dress, these badges were worn in pairs on the collars of tunics and battledress. Reverse retains original lug for attachment.
