An original Suffolk Regiment Old Comrades Association lapel badge, worn by former members and veterans of the regiment to commemorate their service and maintain regimental fellowship. Designed for wear on civilian attire, these badges were typically worn at reunions, parades, and ceremonial events.
The badge is struck in gilt brass with enamel detailing, featuring the regimental cap badge motif of the Castle of Gibraltar and Key at the centre and inscribed with “The Suffolk Regiment OCA” around the edge. The reverse retains its original horseshoe lapel fitting for secure attachment to a lapel or blazer.
Dimensions
Approx. 23mm x 31mm
Condition
Good. Little gilt finish remains with surface wear consistent with age and handling. The enamel is intact with no chips or cracks. The reverse fitting is secure and fully functional.
