Victory Medal, Driver Leslie William Hammond, Royal Field Artillery
He was born in April 1895 to Alfred and Elizabeth Hammond in Swaffham, Norfolk. He enlisted as a driver in the Royal Field Artillery on the 12th of October 1915 and was listed on the 14th of January, 1916 to serve under the 20th Reserve Battalion. He was then demobilised on the 19th of November 1918. He’d go on to marry Rose Pretoria Hudson on the 17th of October 1920 in All Saints, Peckham. He passed away in March of 1965
