Worcestershire Regiment cap badge produced as a restrike of the pattern worn between 1898 and 1924 by the Worcestershire Regiment of the British Army. This British Army infantry cap badge displays the recognised insignia of the regiment in clear relief, incorporating the distinctive eight-pointed star, lion, Royal Motto and plaque reading “Firm” with the regimental title scroll “Worcestershire” below. The design reflects the regiment’s long-standing heraldic device derived from the Order of the Garter star, a feature characteristic of the regiment’s headdress insignia during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, as well as during the Great War and later iterations of the cap badge.

The pattern was worn during the early twentieth century, including the years of the First World War, before later modifications to the badge design were introduced in the inter-war period. The composition follows the formal star-shaped style commonly associated with line infantry regimental badges of the British Army.

Manufactured in a brass finish consistent with service dress wear of the period, this restrike example offers a sharply defined representation of the original early twentieth-century pattern. Worcestershire Regiment cap badges are collected as examples of British Army infantry militaria, county regiment insignia, and historic regimental uniform hardware.
