The 1921–1936 pattern cap badge was worn by the Royal Marine School of Music (as well as previously the Royal Naval School of Music) during the interwar years. Although a later reproduction, it follows the original interwar pattern’s layout and proportions.
A well-made restrike in gilding metal, featuring the Royal Marine cap badge design of a globe within a laurel wreath, summounted by the harp, a motif symbolic of British military bands, musicians and music institutions. The finish displays a clean, bright tone typical of modern manufacture.
