BRITISH Martini-Henry Pat 1887 Mk.III Rifle Sword bayonet, with steel mounted black leather scabbard.
Chequered black leather grips held by two steel rivets with washers, coil spring locking catch. 56.5 cm single-edged straight blade, with no fuller, Bayonet 62cm overall length in scabbard.
Ricasso marked “EFD” with a broad arrow above, with a crown, “58, E” below. On the reverse, it’s dated “7, ’99”
Condition:Â Good. Split to the brazing on the chape. Significant damage to the leather grips. Otherwise in very good condition.
