TURKISH MAUSER BAYONET Model 1890
Turkish Mauser Bayonet Model 1890. steel pommel and cross guard, swept forward quillon with ball end, Wood grips held by two steel rivets with washers, 462mm single edged single fullered blade complete in steel mounted black leather scabbard. Generally scruffy, blade and scabbard mounts show signs of nickel plating now mostly worn away, blade show light marks of where it has been ground to sharpen it, some time past. Scabbard leather complete with some small splits, but seam stitching intact.
