Canadian-manufactured 18-Pounder Mk. II brass shell case, clearly dated “1, 10, 17” (1st October 1917) and marked with “DCPC” (Dominion Copper Products Company). Produced for the ubiquitous 84 mm (3.3″) 18-pounder field gun used by British and Commonwealth artillery in the First World War, this example bears clear manufacturer and date stamps to the base and presents as an attractive, correctly proportioned artillery case suitable for display, trench-art conversion or museum mounting. Supplied empty and inert.

Condition
Good. Shell case is empty/inert and displays an aged patina; base headstamp including Dominion Copper Products Co. and the 1917 date is clear and legible. Case mouth and rim retain correct form with only minor discolouration consistent with service and handling. Surface shows light dents and small knocks commensurate with period use, but no splits or major corrosion. Structurally sound and ready for display.

Condition: Good, some deformation to the rim, markings are relatively legible
