Original East Anglia Brigade brass shoulder title, a piece of British Army post-war insignia from the 1958–1964 period. The East Anglia Brigade was formed during the post-WWII reorganisation of the British Army, grouping together county regiments from the East Anglia region, including the Royal Norfolk Regiment, Suffolk Regiment, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment, and the Essex Regiment.
This shoulder title features the bold block lettering “EAST ANGLIA”, struck in brass, and was worn on the epaulettes of the battledress blouse or service dress tunic to show brigade affiliation before the creation of the Royal Anglian Regiment in 1964.
