An original Fife and Forfar Yeomanry cap badge in anodised aluminium (Staybrite), worn in the early 1950s, following the introduction of anodised insignia in the British Army. The badge features the Thane of Fife charging on horseback.

The Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, originally formed in the late 18th century as part of Britain’s volunteer cavalry forces, served with distinction during both World Wars and later as an armoured regiment within the Territorial Army. This anodised badge would have been worn during the unit’s post-war service and through its later amalgamation phases, including its eventual integration with the Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry.

Reverse features the correct vertical slider, typical of Staybrite badges from this period.

Condition: Excellent – Clean bright finish with no damage or wear; slider firm and intact.
