An original Hertfordshire Yeomanry anodised aluminium cap badge, worn between 1953 and 1961, featuring the Queen’s Crown. This stay-brite badge represents the short-lived post-coronation pattern used before the regiment’s later amalgamation into Royal Artillery units. The design features the Hart of Hertfordshire, taken from the county arms, within a circlet inscribed “Hertfordshire Yeomanry”, surmounted by the St. Edward’s Crown. Struck in silver-finish anodised aluminium, the badge is lightweight and retains excellent brightness, as intended for modern Service Dress and beret use.
The reverse is fitted with its original long slider.
Condition: Excellent
Dimensions: Approx. 45mm x 22mm
