A scarce and original Pre-1903 Pattern collar badge to the 20th Hussars, featuring the Imperial (Queen Victoria) Crown, worn before the regiment’s amalgamation into the 14th/20th Hussars in the 1920s. Struck in brass, this collar badge depicts the regimental number “XX” with a central stylised “H”, all surmounted by the Imperial Crown, denoting service under Queen Victoria. This badge would have been worn in pairs on the collar of the full dress tunic by other ranks of the 20th Hussars in the years leading up to the Edwardian badge redesigns.

Condition: Very Good – Crisp detail throughout; pleasing age patina; complete with original lugs to reverse, slightly pinched but firm.
