FOR UK SALE ONLY, WE CANNOT EXPORT AMMUNITION OR ORDNANCE!
An example of trench art, this piece repurposes an original British-made A/S 12 Limbo/Squid brass shell case, dated 1954, into an ashtray or paperweight. The A/S 12 was used as a propelling charge for depth charges.
This shell case has been carefully modified into a functional decorative piece, often created as a souvenir of their service. The original headstamp markings remain clear on the base, reading “A/S 12 / LOT 51 / KP / ECC / 1954 / KP / N” with the primer marked “N38 Mk. 1 / RML 10/56 / 1/57 / CY 3”.
Condition: Very good. Headstamp is fairly legible. Structurally solid.
