Original Suffolk Regiment brass shoulder title, a piece of British Army insignia from the C.1881–1959 period. The Suffolk Regiment dates back to the 17th century and was named “The Suffolk Regiment in 1881. This design of shoulder title would’ve been worn until the Suffolk Regiment amalgamated into the East Anglia Brigade.
This shoulder title features the bold block lettering “SUFFOLK”, struck in brass, and was worn on the epaulettes of the battledress blouse or service dress tunic to show brigade affiliation.
On the reverse are east-west-eyed lugs for fitting
