Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry (Ox & Bucks LI or 1st Green Jackets (43rd and 52nd)) blackened brass shoulder title, produced in the 1958–1966 pattern following the regiment’s post-war reorganisation. This title features the distinctive “43RD & 52ND” lettering in a serifed, all-caps format typical of late-pattern shoulder titles worn before the regiment’s absorption into the Rifle Brigade and later the Royal Green Jackets.
Constructed in blackened brass to the correct contemporary finish, this title reflects the subdued appearance favoured by light infantry regiments during the period. The reverse is fitted with east-west wire lugs, consistent with British Army insignia manufacturing methods of the era. A strong reference or display example for collectors of British infantry insignia.
