A modern restrike example of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers cap badge, produced in blackened brass to emulate the subdued finish commonly used on field-service insignia in Northern Ireland.
Description
This well-made restrike reproduces the regiment’s classic emblem, introduced at its formation in 1968:

The distinctive Fusilier flame, rendered as a multi-rayed “burst.”

A detailed depiction of St George within a laurel wreath roundel – the emblem inherited from the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, one of the regiment’s founding antecedents.
